A very heavy serif with pronounced stroke contrast and crisp, bracketed serifs that taper cleanly into stems and bowls. The design leans on broad verticals and sharply cut terminals, giving letters a carved, poster-like solidity while still retaining traditional serif construction. Round forms (C, O, G, e) are compact and tightly drawn, and counters run slightly narrow, contributing to a dense, ink-rich texture. Overall spacing feels steady and conventional, with strong baseline presence and clear, upright stress throughout.

Best used for headlines and display typography where its dense color and sharp serif detail can be appreciated. It can also serve for short editorial bursts—pull quotes, section openers, and titling—when a classic serif voice is desired with extra emphasis. For longer passages, it will typically work best at larger sizes with comfortable line spacing to avoid a heavy page texture.

The font projects a confident, traditional tone with a touch of theatrical punch from its weight and contrast. It feels institutional and editorial—suited to messages that should read as established, serious, and emphatic rather than casual or playful.

The design appears intended as a conventional, bookish serif pushed to a more emphatic, attention-grabbing weight. Its mix of traditional proportions and strong contrast suggests a goal of delivering classic credibility while maximizing impact in titles and prominent copy.

In text settings the dark color and compact counters create a strong typographic “black” that benefits from generous size and breathing room. Numerals share the same sturdy, high-contrast construction, reading as bold and formal, especially in display contexts.
