A tightly set serif with condensed proportions and a tall, linear silhouette. Strokes show moderate thick–thin modulation, with stems that subtly broaden into flared, bracketed serifs, creating a crisp, chiseled edge rather than blunt slabs. Curves are controlled and slightly taut, counters stay fairly compact, and the overall rhythm is vertical and even. Lowercase forms keep a straightforward, readable structure, while capitals carry a stately, display-like presence; numerals appear similarly narrow and upright, matching the font’s compact footprint.

Well-suited to headlines and subheads where space is limited and a classic serif voice is desired. It can also work for magazine titles, book covers, and pull quotes, especially in columnar layouts where its narrow proportions help fit longer words. In extended text, it will favor larger sizes and generous leading to keep the dense texture comfortable.

The tone is traditional and editorial, with a composed formality that recalls book typography and newspaper titling. Its narrow, high-contrast-ish cadence adds a touch of drama and authority, reading as serious, literary, and slightly old-world rather than casual.

The design appears intended to deliver a space-saving, traditional serif with a refined, slightly calligraphic flare at the stroke endings. It aims to balance compactness with a dignified, print-oriented presence, offering an authoritative look for editorial and display settings.

The sample text shows strong line economy: the condensed width packs words tightly without collapsing legibility. Flared endings and sharp serif details remain visible at larger sizes, giving headings a distinctive, engraved-like finish, while text blocks retain a disciplined, column-friendly texture.
