A jagged, display-oriented serif with hand-carved irregularity and sharply tapered terminals. Strokes alternate between thick wedges and thin, knife-like spurs, producing a rough, broken rhythm rather than smooth curves. Counters are often narrow and angular, and many joins feel chiseled or notched, giving letters a distressed silhouette. Spacing and widths vary slightly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, cut-from-paper look in both capitals and lowercase.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as horror or thriller titles, Halloween promotions, posters, album/film graphics, and game or escape-room branding. It can also work for section headers, badges, and packaging where a distressed, ominous voice is desired, especially when paired with simpler body text.

The font projects a dark, ritualistic tone—more carved and threatening than playful. Its spurs, hooks, and uneven edges evoke old horror titling, haunted ephemera, and ominous signage. The overall effect is tense and dramatic, with a handcrafted unease that reads as intentionally “wrong” in a controlled way.

The design appears intended to mimic hand-cut or chiseled lettering with exaggerated spikes and tapering, prioritizing atmosphere and texture over neutrality. Its inconsistent edges and sharp terminal behavior suggest a deliberate effort to create an unsettling, story-driven display face for dramatic thematic typography.

In running text, the texture becomes busy due to the many pointed terminals and irregular stroke edges, so it benefits from generous tracking and larger sizes. Numerals match the same carved, gothic flavor with uneven curves and abrupt cuts, keeping the set visually consistent across letters and figures.
