A distressed display face built from sharp, tapering strokes and irregular, torn-looking contours. The letters are tightly drawn with compressed proportions and strong thick–thin behavior, often ending in needle-like terminals that create a scratchy silhouette. Edges wobble and bite inward as if cut with a rough blade, producing uneven counters and a restless texture across words. Spacing and widths vary slightly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an intentionally handmade, unstable rhythm.

Best suited for short, attention-grabbing display use such as horror/thriller titles, haunted event promotions, game or film key art, and album/merch graphics. It works well when set at larger sizes where the torn edges and needle terminals can be appreciated, and when paired with simpler supporting text for readability.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, evoking horror titles, occult posters, and supernatural storytelling. Its spines and dagger-like endings add a sense of danger and urgency, while the rough texture suggests decay, grime, or something carved into a surface. The voice reads as aggressive and dramatic rather than playful.

The design appears intended to deliver an immediate horror-forward impact through knife-cut contours, exaggerated tapers, and a deliberately distressed, hand-rendered finish. Its narrow build and aggressive terminals prioritize mood and silhouette over neutral legibility, making it a strong thematic headline tool.

The font’s character is carried by its high-contrast, taper-heavy stroke endings, which can create busy dark patches in dense text. The numerals and lowercase maintain the same cut, thorny logic as the capitals, keeping the texture consistent across mixed-case settings.
