A condensed, decorative serif with sharp wedge terminals and irregular, distressed contours. Strokes show uneven edges and deliberate speckling around forms, creating a worn ink / splatter effect rather than clean curves. Serifs are pointed and sometimes hook-like, with occasional thorny protrusions at joins and terminals; counters remain fairly open for a display face, but the texture breaks up silhouettes. Proportions are compact with tight widths, and spacing appears moderately tight, emphasizing a vertical, poster-like rhythm.

Best suited to display applications where atmosphere matters: horror and fantasy title treatments, Halloween promotions, game UI headings, poster headlines, book covers, and packaging that benefits from a cursed/antique vibe. It works especially well when given room to breathe at medium-to-large sizes, where the distressed edge becomes a feature rather than visual noise.

The overall tone is ominous and theatrical, combining old-world, storybook letterforms with gritty erosion and spattered ink. The texture and spiky terminals suggest horror props, cursed manuscripts, or Halloween ephemera—more playful-sinister than purely brutal.

The design appears intended to evoke a spooky, aged print aesthetic—like letterpress type that’s been roughed up, splattered, or corrupted—while keeping recognizable, classic serif structures for legibility in short bursts.

The distressing is prominent at small sizes, where the spatter can compete with interior detail; at larger sizes it reads as intentional grit and adds character. Numerals follow the same worn treatment, with clear silhouettes suited to headings rather than long strings of data.
