This typeface blends blackletter-like construction with a flared, incised serif treatment. Strokes are mostly vertical and firm, with wedge-shaped terminals that bloom into sharp, thorny points and small notches, creating a starburst-like edge texture throughout. Counters are compact and openings are often narrow, while joins and diagonals stay crisp and angular. The alphabet shows noticeable per-glyph width variation—some letters are tightly condensed while others broaden—producing a lively, irregular rhythm that still feels systematically designed. Numerals and punctuation carry the same pricked, decorative terminal language for a highly stylized overall color.

Best suited to display settings such as posters, game or film titles, album artwork, event flyers, and brand marks that want a gothic or occult tone. It can also work for packaging and labels where a dramatic, historicized voice is desirable, but it will generally perform better at larger sizes and with generous spacing.

The sharp flares and bristling terminals evoke a dark, archaic atmosphere—part medieval manuscript, part occult or metal-adjacent display lettering. It reads assertive and theatrical, with an aggressive edge that feels ceremonial and enigmatic rather than friendly or neutral.

The design appears intended to deliver a blackletter-inspired voice with a more sculpted, flared serif finish, emphasizing sharp ornament and silhouette impact. Its consistent thorned terminals and angular construction suggest a focus on mood and recognizability over neutral readability.

In text lines, the repeated spurs and interior notches create a busy texture that can reduce clarity at smaller sizes, especially where counters tighten and terminals crowd. The distinctive silhouette is strongest in uppercase and short words, where the ornamental edges read as intentional detailing rather than noise.
