This serif design is built from bold, sculpted letterforms with pronounced flared terminals and wedge-like serifs. Many strokes feel carved out, with deep triangular notches and pointed joins that create a rhythmic play of solid and negative space. Curves are generous and rounded, but often interrupted by sharp cut-ins, producing a distinctly faceted silhouette; counters and bowls can appear partially “bitten” where the cut-ins occur. Overall spacing reads open and display-oriented, with a consistent, graphic cadence across uppercase, lowercase, and numerals.

Best suited to headlines, magazine display typography, and branding where distinctive texture and silhouette matter more than neutral readability. It performs especially well at medium-to-large sizes in short bursts—titles, pull quotes, packaging, and campaign graphics—where the sharp notches and flared terminals can read clearly.

The tone is assertive and theatrical, blending a classical serif foundation with a contemporary, cut-paper or stencil-like edge. It suggests editorial sophistication with a touch of eccentricity—stylish, slightly provocative, and designed to be noticed at a glance.

The design appears intended to reinterpret traditional serif proportions through a bold, decorative cutting strategy—using notches, wedges, and flares to create a memorable, high-contrast-in-shape look without relying on extreme stroke contrast. It aims for strong identity and visual rhythm in display settings.

Uppercase forms lean monumental and poster-ready, while lowercase introduces more idiosyncratic details (notched shoulders, asymmetrical-looking cut-ins) that add personality in text. Numerals match the same carved motif, keeping the set cohesive for headlines that mix words and figures.
