A rough, ink-worn serif with irregular contours and visibly distressed edges throughout. Strokes are mostly monoline with subtle modulation, and terminals often look blunted or frayed as if stamped or printed on absorbent stock. Proportions are compact with sturdy stems, slightly uneven curves, and a gently inconsistent baseline and spacing that create a handmade rhythm. The lowercase shows traditional serif structures (notably in a, e, g, r) while maintaining a jittery, textured outline; numerals share the same chipped, weathered construction.

Best suited for display settings where texture and personality are desired: horror or suspense titling, vintage-leaning posters, editorial or book-cover headlines, and themed branding that benefits from a worn, analog feel. It works particularly well when paired with cleaner body text to keep long passages readable.

The overall tone feels gritty and timeworn, like type pulled from an old poster, book cover, or found document. Its rough texture adds tension and atmosphere, reading as moody, ominous, or folkloric depending on context, while still retaining a classic serif backbone.

The design appears intended to merge a traditional serif silhouette with a deliberately degraded, printed texture to evoke age, grit, and physical production artifacts. It prioritizes atmosphere and tactile character over pristine uniformity, aiming for a convincing distressed imprint in a ready-to-use display face.

The distressing appears baked into the letterforms rather than applied as a uniform overlay, producing varied nicks, gaps, and ink swell across different glyphs. Larger sizes emphasize the texture and character, while smaller sizes may compress the details into a darker, more mottled color.
