A heavy, display-oriented slab serif with broad proportions and pronounced bracketed slabs. The forms are built from chunky, rounded strokes with visible contrast between the main stems and the horizontal slabs, and many letters feature flared, notched or “tuscan-like” cut-ins that create a sculpted silhouette. Counters are generous for the weight, while joins and terminals stay smooth and bulbous, giving the texture a soft, inflated feel despite the mass. Spacing and rhythm read intentionally uneven in a decorative way, with letter shapes that feel individually carved rather than strictly geometric.

Best suited for large-scale headlines and short phrases where its carved, tuscan-like slabs can read clearly. It works well for poster design, event branding, storefront-style signage, and packaging that benefits from a vintage show-card feel. Use cautiously for long passages, where the heavy weight and decorative notches can create dense color.

The overall tone is theatrical and nostalgic, evoking old posters, carnival signage, and frontier-era display type. Its exaggerated slabs and notched details add a showy, attention-grabbing voice that feels friendly and slightly mischievous rather than formal.

The design appears intended to reinterpret classic slab-serif display traditions with extra ornamental shaping, producing a bold, poster-ready face that recalls wood type and show typography. The goal seems to be maximum presence and a distinctive silhouette rather than quiet readability.

The distinctive cut-in details are most noticeable in letters with strong verticals and in the diagonals, producing a lively, “wood-type” texture in blocks of text. At small sizes the interior notches and heavy slabs may visually fill in, while at larger sizes the sculpted contours become the main character.
