A condensed serif with strong vertical stress and compact proportions, designed around tall caps and tightly drawn letterforms. Strokes show clear thick–thin modulation with sturdy main stems and finer hairlines, while serifs are small and bracketed, giving a traditional text-face feel without becoming delicate. Counters are relatively narrow and the rhythm is dense, with consistent verticality and a slightly calligraphic, oldstyle flavor in the lowercase. Numerals and capitals keep a disciplined, upright structure that reads cleanly in lines of text despite the narrow set.

Well suited to headlines, subheads, and editorial typography where space is limited and a traditional serif voice is desired. It can also serve for book-cover titling, pull quotes, and poster text that benefits from a compact, high-impact line length.

The tone is classic and editorial, suggesting printed pages, headlines, and traditional publishing. Its tight, upright stance feels serious and authoritative, with a mildly vintage literary character rather than a modern, minimal one.

The design appears intended to deliver a conventional serif reading impression in a space-saving, condensed width, balancing classic details with enough stroke strength to hold up in print-like applications. It aims for confident, traditional communication with efficient horizontal footprint.

The condensed width increases line density and emphasis, especially in capitals, while the moderate contrast and firm serifs help maintain clarity at display and short-text sizes. The overall texture is dark and even, producing strong typographic color in paragraphs and prominent impact in titling.
