A crisp, text-oriented serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and sharply tapered, wedge-like terminals. Strokes often finish in pointed, slightly spurred serifs, giving the outlines a cut, chiseled feel rather than a soft bracketed finish. Proportions are generally condensed, with tall ascenders and a lively, uneven rhythm created by occasional inward flicks and hook-like details on stems and joins. Counters are relatively small and the curves are tense and angular, producing a distinctive, slightly idiosyncratic texture in lines of text.

Best suited to headlines, book and chapter titles, pull quotes, and short editorial passages where its sharp terminals and lively texture can be appreciated. It can also work for display-driven branding or packaging that wants a vintage-literary feel, but it’s less ideal for long-form, small-size reading where the spiky details may crowd the page.

The overall tone is refined but theatrical: it reads as classic and literary at a glance, yet the spiky terminals and quirky inflections add a touch of eccentricity. It suggests an editorial, storybook, or period flavor—more expressive than a purely neutral book face.

The design appears intended to blend conventional serif readability with a more expressive, cut-terminal signature. Its narrow stance and high-contrast drawing aim to deliver elegance and vertical emphasis while adding personality through pointed serifs and occasional calligraphic flicks.

In the sample text, the strong contrast and pointed terminals create a shimmering, textured color, especially around s-curves and diagonal joins. The numerals and capitals carry the same sharp, flared finishing, helping headings feel consistent with body settings, though the distinctive details can become visually busy at smaller sizes or in dense paragraphs.
