A high-contrast serif with finely tapered hairlines and fuller verticals, combining crisp, pointed joins with softly swelling stroke endings. Serifs read as delicately bracketed and often flare out from stems, giving the letters a subtly sculpted, chiseled finish rather than blunt slabs. Proportions feel relatively narrow and vertical, with round letters kept smooth and controlled and diagonals cut sharply. The lowercase shows traditional, text-oriented shapes—single-storey g, a compact ear on g, and restrained apertures—while figures appear lining with elegant, thin top strokes and pronounced thick–thin rhythm.

Works best for editorial layouts, magazine typography, and book or journal settings where a refined serif voice is desired. It also suits headlines, pull quotes, and brand wordmarks that benefit from high-contrast sophistication and crisp detail, especially in larger sizes or high-quality print.

The overall tone is refined and literary, with a poised, slightly formal elegance suited to premium, cultured typography. Its sharp hairlines and flared endings add a touch of drama and polish, evoking classic print and fashion/editorial styling without feeling overly ornate.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on classical serif typography: strong thick–thin contrast, tidy proportions, and flared, bracketed finishing that adds elegance and distinctiveness. It aims to balance readability with a polished display presence, making it adaptable across editorial text and headline applications.

At smaller sizes the delicate hairlines and tight inner counters may require adequate contrast and spacing, while at display sizes the tapered terminals, bracketed serifs, and clean curves become a defining feature. The letterforms maintain a consistent vertical posture and a smooth, measured rhythm across mixed-case text.
