A flared-serif text face with gently expanding stroke endings and low-to-moderate modulation that reads as steady rather than sharp. The capitals are proportionally broad with crisp, slightly bracketed flare at terminals, while bowls stay round and open. Lowercase forms show a humanist rhythm with soft, tapered joins; the two-storey a and g are compact and readable, and the e has a modest, open eye. Numerals are sturdy and old-style in feel, with rounded forms and subtle tapering that keeps them consistent with the letterforms.

This font is well suited to extended reading in books, essays, and editorial layouts where an even texture and comfortable letterforms are priorities. It can also support headings and display lines when a classic, literary voice is desired, pairing well with restrained layouts and traditional typography.

The overall tone is literary and composed, combining a classical sensibility with a slightly calligraphic warmth. It feels appropriate for serious, traditional settings without becoming overly formal or ornate.

The design appears intended to deliver a readable, traditional serif with a subtly calligraphic, flared finish—aiming for warmth and authority while keeping the texture even for text use.

Serif treatment is characterized more by widening and tapering than by rectangular slabs, giving terminals a carved, inked-on-paper quality. Curves are smooth and generous, and the design maintains an even, calm color in text despite the flared details.
