A very heavy, right-slanted display face with chiseled, angular forms and strong thick–thin modulation. Strokes taper into pointed terminals and wedge-like serifs, creating a cut-from-stone feel, while joins stay crisp and faceted rather than rounded. The rhythm is energetic and uneven in a hand-driven way, with slight irregularities and variable character widths that keep the texture lively in lines of text. Counters are relatively tight and often triangular or teardrop-shaped, and diagonals dominate many shapes, reinforcing the forward-leaning motion.

Best suited to display settings where impact and texture are desirable—posters, event or festival branding, game and fantasy titling, labels/packaging, and logo wordmarks. It performs particularly well in short runs of text such as headers, pull quotes, and banner-style phrases where the bold, faceted forms can be appreciated.

The overall tone is medieval and theatrical, with a combative, heroic edge. Its bold presence and sharp details read as historic and ceremonial rather than neutral, suggesting banners, proclamations, and storybook drama.

The design appears intended to fuse blackletter-inspired structure with a brisk italic sweep, delivering a bold, hand-cut look that feels historic and forceful. It prioritizes texture, sharpness, and dramatic contrast to create immediate visual authority in display typography.

In the sample text the dense color and sharp terminals create strong word shapes, but the intricate interior spaces can close up as size decreases. Numerals and capitals carry the same carved, calligraphic logic, helping headings and short phrases feel cohesive and emphatic.
