A very heavy display serif with pronounced contrast and sharply tapered, flared terminals that feel carved rather than squared off. Stems swell into wedge-like endings, and many joins show crisp bracketing that creates a chiseled, sculptural rhythm across words. The letterforms are broad with generous internal counters, while diagonals and curves (notably in S, C, and G) carry a calligraphic tension that emphasizes the thick–thin pattern. Numerals and capitals read sturdy and formal, with pointed beaks and angled spurs adding bite to the silhouette.

Best suited to headlines and short-to-medium display text where its flared terminals and high-contrast strokes can be appreciated. It works well for editorial titles, book covers, heritage-inspired branding, and packaging that benefits from a strong, traditional voice. For long body copy, it will likely be most effective at larger sizes where the sharp details remain clear.

The overall tone is bold and ceremonial, pairing old-style gravitas with a slightly theatrical edge. It evokes traditional print authority—mastheads, plaques, and bookish formality—while the sharp flares and dramatic contrast add a sense of drama and emphasis.

The design appears intended to deliver a formal serif voice with extra emphasis through flared, tapered endings and sculpted bracketing. It aims to combine classic print cues with a more forceful, display-oriented presence that stands out in titles and branding.

Spacing appears comfortable for a display face, and the strong terminal shapes create distinctive word silhouettes even at a glance. The lowercase maintains a steady, readable rhythm in the sample text, but the intense contrast and pointed details keep the texture lively and attention-grabbing.
