A distressed serif with narrow, upright proportions and a lightly condensed feel. Letterforms show crisp, high-contrast strokes overlaid with consistent abrasion: frayed edges, broken contours, and patchy ink traps that simulate rough printing or worn type. Serifs are present but often softened or chipped, and curves (notably rounds like O, C, and e) carry irregular interior texture. Spacing reads fairly even in text, while individual glyph widths vary noticeably, giving the line a subtly uneven rhythm without collapsing legibility.

Well-suited for display typography in posters, album or book covers, packaging, and brand marks that benefit from a worn, analog finish. It can also work for short editorial headlines, pull quotes, and signage where a vintage or gritty texture is desirable and the distressed detail can remain clear.

The font conveys an aged, tactile character reminiscent of stamped packaging, worn book covers, and imperfect presswork. Its roughened surfaces add a gritty, archival tone that feels handmade and slightly rebellious, while the underlying serif structure keeps it readable and grounded.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional serif skeleton with a deliberately degraded surface, recreating the look of aged ink, rough stock, or repeated impressions. The goal is to add instant atmosphere and materiality while retaining enough structure for comfortable headline and short-text reading.

In longer passages the texture remains prominent, so the face works best when the distressed detail is allowed to be seen—at moderate to larger sizes or in high-contrast printing. Numerals match the same abraded treatment and carry a sturdy, poster-friendly presence.
