A high-contrast serif with sharp hairlines and pronounced thick–thin modulation, built on predominantly vertical stress. Serifs are fine and bracketed, giving joins a slightly softened, traditional feel despite the crisp edges. Capitals are stately with ample internal space (notably in C, G, O, Q), while the lowercase shows a measured rhythm with a two-storey a and g, narrow joins, and delicate entry/exit strokes. Figures appear lining with strong contrast and refined curves, matching the text color of the letters.

Well-suited to magazine typography, editorial layouts, and cultured branding where a refined serif voice is needed. It can anchor headlines and subheads effectively and also works in short-form body copy in print or high-resolution digital contexts where its hairlines and details can remain clear.

The overall tone is polished and literary, projecting sophistication and a fashion-leaning elegance. Its crisp hairlines and poised proportions communicate prestige and formality, with a calm, composed rhythm suited to high-end editorial settings.

The letterforms suggest an intention to deliver a contemporary interpretation of classic high-contrast serifs, balancing traditional bracketed serifs and calligraphic modulation with clean, modern crispness for editorial and brand-led typography.

The design relies on thin connecting strokes and fine serifs to achieve its sparkle, so it reads most confidently when given sufficient size and good reproduction conditions. The contrast and vertical stress create a bright, shimmering texture in running text, while the capitals provide a dramatic, display-ready presence.
