A sturdy serif with compact proportions, generous weight, and a clearly sculpted, calligraphic construction. Stems broaden into flared terminals and end in bracketed, wedge-like serifs that give the letters a carved, inked feel rather than a purely mechanical one. Curves are full and smooth with moderate modulation, while joins and shoulders stay tight and controlled, producing a dense, even rhythm in text. The lowercase is sturdy and slightly compact, with short-looking ascenders/descenders and robust bowls; numerals match the heavy texture and maintain clear, traditional forms.

Well suited to headlines, magazine and newspaper-style typography, and other editorial settings where a dense, authoritative texture is desirable. It should also work effectively for book covers, branding, and packaging that benefit from classic, traditional cues and a strong typographic presence.

The overall tone is traditional and assured, with an editorial seriousness that reads as established and trustworthy. Its strong silhouettes and flared finishing lend a subtle historic and bookish character, projecting confidence without becoming ornate.

The design appears intended to blend traditional serif conventions with flared, calligraphic finishing to create a bold, legible face that holds together as a dark, confident text block while remaining expressive in display use.

Spacing and internal counters feel intentionally tight, creating a dark, cohesive page color at display sizes. Diagonals and arms (notably in K, V, W, X, and the 4/7) appear sharply cut and energetic, balancing the more rounded letters with crisp directional contrast.
