A sturdy serif with sculpted, slightly flared stroke endings and prominent bracketed serifs. Strokes are smoothly modulated with a clear thick–thin rhythm, and curves are rounded but firmly controlled, giving counters a compact, dense feel. Capitals are broad and stately with crisp terminals; the lowercase shows a traditional, readable build with a two-storey a and g, a teardrop-like ear on g, and strong, weighty bowls. Numerals are substantial and old-style in spirit, with rounded forms and pronounced serifed terminals that keep the set cohesive in text.

Well suited to editorial headlines, book and magazine typography, and display sizes where its sculpted serifs and strong color can carry a page. It can also support brand marks and premium packaging that benefit from a traditional, authoritative serif voice.

The overall tone is classic and authoritative, leaning editorial and literary rather than decorative. Its weight and sculpted details convey seriousness and tradition, with a confident presence that still reads as refined and composed.

The design appears aimed at combining classic serif conventions with slightly flared, carved-looking endings to increase presence and character in display and editorial contexts. Its proportions and consistent detailing suggest an emphasis on confident readability and a polished, traditional typographic texture.

Letterforms show consistent serif shaping and careful curve tension, producing a steady texture in paragraph settings. The heavier joins and compact apertures create a darker color on the page, while the flared terminals add a subtle calligraphic warmth.
