A condensed serif with sharply tapered, flared stroke endings that read like small wedges or pointed serifs. Strokes stay relatively even through most of their length, then expand into crisp terminals, creating a pricked, ink-trap-like rhythm at joins and corners. The capitals are tall and narrow with tight internal counters, while the lowercase is compact with a notably short x-height and pronounced ascenders and descenders. Curves are controlled and slightly angular, and diagonals (notably in V, W, X, and y) feel taut and knife-edged. Numerals follow the same condensed, pointed construction, with hard terminals and compact bowls.

Best suited for display settings where its sharp terminals and condensed proportions can read as intentional detail—headlines, posters, titles, and book or album covers. It can also work for wordmarks and short editorial pull-quotes when a darker, historic or dramatic voice is desired, but will feel heavy and dense for long passages at smaller sizes.

The overall tone is darkly formal and theatrical, evoking medieval or gothic references without becoming fully blackletter. Its pointed terminals and narrow stance give it a tense, dramatic presence suited to ominous, ceremonial, or historic-feeling typography.

The design appears intended to merge a compact, vertical silhouette with flared serif punctuation, producing a dramatic texture that feels historic and slightly menacing. Its consistent pointed terminals and tight proportions suggest a focus on impactful title typography rather than neutral text setting.

Spacing appears on the tight side in text, reinforcing a dense color and vertical emphasis. Round letters such as O and Q remain narrow and upright, and the Q’s tail and other small protrusions are rendered as sharp, spear-like details that add bite at display sizes.
