A high-contrast serif with pronounced thick–thin modulation and crisp, tapered hairlines. Serifs are fine and sharply cut, often softly bracketed into stems, giving the forms a chiseled yet elegant finish. Capitals read formal and slightly condensed in presence, while the lowercase shows compact bowls and a lively rhythm, with noticeable calligraphic stress and narrow joins. Numerals and punctuation follow the same display-minded contrast, with thin horizontals and confident verticals that create a strong light–dark pattern on the line.

Best suited to headlines, subheads, pull quotes, and other typographic moments where contrast and elegance can be appreciated. It works well for magazine layouts, luxury branding, beauty and fragrance packaging, and formal invitations, especially when given generous size and spacing.

The overall tone is polished and editorial, combining classic bookish authority with a fashion-forward sparkle. Its sharp hairlines and dramatic contrast feel upscale and curated, suggesting prestige, ceremony, and high production values rather than casual everyday reading.

The design appears intended to deliver a contemporary take on classical serif refinement: dramatic contrast, precise detailing, and a clean upright stance optimized for high-impact display typography while remaining orderly enough for short passages.

At larger sizes the hairline details and tapered terminals become a key feature, producing a crisp, luxurious texture. In denser settings the narrow counters and delicate horizontals can make the color feel contrasty and bright, emphasizing hierarchy and emphasis in headings.
