A heavy display serif with prominent slab-like, slightly flared serifs and visible bracketing. Strokes are thick with subtly uneven terminals and mild in-stroke modulation, giving the letters a carved or stamped look rather than a strictly geometric one. Counters are compact and openings tend to be narrow, while curves (O, C, S) feel padded and slightly squarish. The lowercase shows a friendly, chunky construction with single-storey forms and short, sturdy extenders; overall spacing and letterfit read tight and dense at text sizes.

Best suited to display applications where bold texture and a vintage voice are desirable: posters, shop signage, product packaging, event titles, and brand marks. It can work for short bursts of copy or pull quotes when set with generous leading, but it is most comfortable at larger sizes where the tight counters and dense texture can breathe.

The font projects a bold, old-time tone that blends Western poster energy with a warm, handcrafted irregularity. Its weight and squared serifs make it feel assertive and attention-grabbing, while the softened corners and slight roughness keep it approachable and nostalgic.

The letterforms appear designed to evoke traditional printing and frontier-era display typography while staying clean enough for modern branding. The combination of strong slabs, gentle modulation, and slightly irregular shaping suggests an aim for impact with a handcrafted, nostalgic finish.

The design’s character comes through in the small asymmetries and the way serifs meet stems—more organic than mechanical—producing a lively rhythm across words. Numerals match the heavy, blocky build and maintain the same sturdy, poster-ready presence.
