This italic serif shows a strongly calligraphic construction with pronounced thick–thin modulation and tapered terminals. Serifs are delicate and mostly bracketed, with sharp triangular head serifs in the capitals and fine, pointed finishing strokes throughout. Curves are smooth and open, counters are generous, and the overall rhythm is fluid with a noticeable rightward slant; descenders are long and energetic, and joins in the lowercase suggest pen-influenced movement rather than rigid geometry. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic, with thin hairlines and distinctive, sweeping shapes.

Well suited for editorial settings such as book typography, magazines, and literary layouts where an expressive italic voice is needed for emphasis, quotations, or headings. It can also serve in formal branding and invitation work where a refined, classic serif texture is desired.

The overall tone is cultured and editorial, evoking classic book typography and formal printed matter. Its lively italic motion adds a sense of sophistication and emphasis, suitable for conveying refinement rather than neutrality.

The design appears intended to provide a traditional, text-oriented italic with strong contrast and a pen-informed grace, balancing readability with an elevated, formal character for typographic hierarchy and emphasis.

At text sizes the hairlines and sharp details give a crisp, bright texture, while the slanted capitals and flowing lowercase create a cohesive, continuous line. The italic shapes feel designed as true italics rather than merely slanted romans, with several letters showing distinct, cursive-like forms.
