A compact, vertical display face with tall proportions and a strongly modulated, calligraphic stroke. Letters are built from narrow, pillar-like stems with sharp, tapered terminals and frequent teardrop/leafy finials, giving an incised, cut-from-metal look. Curves are tight and pinched, counters run small, and many joins form pointed arches; the rhythm is consistently upright and tightly spaced with a distinctly sculpted silhouette across both cases. Numerals follow the same compressed, flared treatment, reading as stylized figures with pronounced thick–thin contrast and decorative end shapes.

Best suited to short, prominent settings such as posters, cover titles, chapter heads, album art, and brand marks where its compressed verticality and ornate finish can carry the composition. It also works well for themed packaging and event graphics that benefit from a historic or gothic atmosphere.

The overall tone is gothic and ceremonial, evoking medieval signage, heraldic inscriptions, and darkly romantic titles. Its crisp, blade-like terminals and sculptural weight create a dramatic, slightly ominous mood suited to fantasy or historical storytelling.

The letterforms appear designed to translate blackletter-inspired calligraphy into a bold, highly stylized display voice—emphasizing vertical structure, sharp tapering, and decorative finials to create immediate period flavor and strong silhouette recognition at large sizes.

The design leans on strong verticals and ornamental terminals more than conventional serif structure, so individual letters read as distinctive silhouettes. In longer text the dense texture and small counters can feel intense, reinforcing its role as a display face rather than a quiet reading font.
