A flared serif with gently tapered strokes that swell into subtly widened, bracketed endings rather than sharply cut serifs. Curves are smooth and generous, with open apertures and rounded bowls that keep the texture airy in paragraphs. The capitals feel poised and slightly classical, while the lowercase shows a humanist rhythm with softly modeled joins, a two-storey “g,” and a lightly beaked, descending “y.” Numerals follow the same quiet modulation, with clear, readable forms and minimal decoration.

Well-suited to long-form reading in books and editorial layouts, where its open forms and calm texture support comfortable paragraphs. It also works effectively for refined branding and print collateral—such as invitations or cultural programs—where a subtle, classic voice is desirable without heavy contrast or overt ornament.

The overall tone is understated and cultured, suggesting editorial polish without feeling stiff or overly formal. Its flared endings add a touch of warmth and calligraphic provenance, giving text a composed, bookish character that remains approachable.

The design appears intended to bridge traditional serif credibility with a softer, more contemporary friendliness by using flared terminals and humanist proportions. It prioritizes legibility and even text color while adding a distinctive, gently calligraphic finish at stroke endings.

Spacing appears even and comfortable in running text, producing a smooth gray value and a steady reading rhythm. The design avoids sharp corners and extreme detailing, relying instead on gentle tapering and consistent, rounded shaping for clarity at text sizes.
