This serif shows an old-style skeleton with gently bracketed serifs and a subtly calligraphic stroke flow. Strokes modulate with moderate contrast and rounded joins, giving counters a soft, open feel rather than crisp, geometric rigidity. Capitals are compact and slightly narrow, with sturdy verticals and understated flare at the ends; curves (C, O, G, Q) read smooth and controlled, and the Q has a clear, traditional tail. Lowercase forms are lively and human, with a two-storey a, a compact e, and a softly modeled g; the r and s stay restrained, supporting continuous text rhythm. Numerals are proportional and traditional in tone, matching the serif treatment and overall texture.

Well suited to book typography, editorial layouts, and other reading-heavy contexts where an even, comfortable texture is important. It can also support traditional or heritage-leaning identities and packaging when a classic serif voice is desired without excessive ornament.

The overall tone is classic and literary, with a warm, editorial voice that feels rooted in print tradition. Its modest detailing and organic modulation keep it approachable rather than formal, lending a quietly cultured character suitable for long-form reading.

The design appears intended as a readable, traditional serif with humanist warmth—balancing historic book-type cues with clean, steady construction for dependable paragraph setting.

Letterfit appears consistent and text-oriented, producing an even typographic color in the sample paragraph. Serifs remain present but not sharp, and terminals tend to finish with small, controlled wedges that reinforce a crafted, book-type impression.
