A heavy display serif with condensed proportions and sharp, wedge-like terminals. Strokes alternate between thick verticals and noticeably thinner joins, creating a punchy, poster-style contrast. The most distinctive feature is the distressed texture: irregular voids, nicks, and worn-looking interiors appear consistently across counters and strokes, as if ink skipped or a stencil surface chipped. Curves are taut and compact, spacing is tight, and the overall silhouette reads strongly in all-caps while the lowercase keeps a compact, short-bodied look with sturdy stems and small counters.

Best suited for large sizes where the distressed details can be appreciated—posters, theatrical or music promotions, editorial headlines, and bold packaging labels. It can also work for short logotypes and title treatments that want a gritty, vintage-print attitude, while longer text will feel dense and dark due to the weight and tight counters.

The texture and condensed, high-impact forms evoke vintage print ephemera—old playbills, saloon signage, and noir-era headlines. It feels gritty and dramatic, with an intentionally imperfect, tactile presence that suggests age, rough production, or unrestored letterpress output.

This design appears intended to deliver a strong, condensed headline voice with a built-in aged/printed texture. The combination of sharp serif structure and deliberate interior wear aims for instant impact and a period-leaning, tactile character without needing added effects.

The distressing is built into the letterforms rather than applied randomly, so repeated characters retain a coherent pattern while still reading as worn. Numerals match the same compact, bold rhythm and carry the same interior erosion, keeping headings and callouts visually unified.
