A heavy, compact slab-serif design with sturdy stems and blunt terminals, rendered with intentionally irregular contours. Edges appear abraded and ink-worn, creating a printed, slightly blotchy texture that varies from glyph to glyph while maintaining a consistent overall rhythm. Counters are generally tight and squarish, curves are restrained, and the serif structure stays prominent, giving the face a blocky, poster-ready silhouette with a handmade, imperfect finish.

Best suited for display settings where texture is desirable: posters, editorial headlines, bold branding marks, craft packaging, event flyers, and themed signage. It will shine when used at larger sizes where the rough edge detail can be appreciated, and when paired with simpler body text for contrast.

The distressed inking and chunky slabs evoke a nostalgic, workwear feel—somewhere between old letterpress posters, saloon signage, and utilitarian labeling. Its rough texture adds grit and character, while the compact proportions keep it energetic and attention-seeking rather than delicate or refined.

The design appears intended to mimic worn letterpress or woodtype output—delivering strong impact while injecting grit and period character. It prioritizes a tactile, analog look over neutrality, making it a natural fit for themed graphics that benefit from an aged, stamped aesthetic.

The texture is strong enough to become a key design feature, especially in smaller apertures and at joins where ink spread and wear are most noticeable. The figures and capitals read as robust display forms, with enough irregularity to suggest physical printing rather than digital perfection.
