A high-contrast serif with strongly modulated strokes and crisp hairlines set against weighty main stems. Serifs are sharply defined and often feel cupped or flared, creating pointed, sculpted terminals rather than blunt slabs. Uppercase forms are tall and commanding with tight apertures and pronounced thick–thin transitions, while the lowercase keeps a traditional book face structure with a two-storey a and g, compact bowls, and lively terminals. Curves show a confident, slightly calligraphic tension, and the numerals and capitals read as display-oriented due to the intense contrast and sharp details.

Best suited to headlines, decks, pull quotes, and other display roles where its contrast and sharp detailing can be appreciated. It works well for editorial and magazine design, fashion or luxury branding, and book cover typography, especially in large sizes where the hairlines remain clear.

The overall tone is refined and dramatic, combining classic bookish authority with a fashion/editorial edge. Its sharp hairlines and sculpted serifs convey sophistication and a slightly theatrical elegance, making it feel formal and premium rather than casual.

The font appears designed to deliver classic serif prestige with heightened contrast and sculptural terminals that add drama and polish. It prioritizes impact and elegance in display typography while retaining traditional letterform foundations for recognizable reading flow.

The design’s sparkle comes from extreme hairlines and pointed terminals, which can visually thicken in dense settings; it benefits from generous size or spacing. The rhythm is assertive and punchy, with particularly strong vertical emphasis in capitals and a distinctive, stylized feel in the diagonal letters.
