A heavy, chunky roman with softly irregular outlines and a visibly textured, inked edge. Strokes are broad and generally monolinear, with rounded corners and occasional nicks and bulges that create a worn-print feel. Counters stay mostly open despite the weight, while spacing and sidebearings vary slightly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing an organic, stamped rhythm. The lowercase is compact and sturdy, with a single-storey “a” and “g,” and the overall construction reads as simple, geometric letterforms that have been roughened by texture rather than built from pen calligraphy.

Best suited to short, high-impact settings such as posters, display headlines, product packaging, labels, and signage where the distressed texture is a feature. It can also work well for album art, event graphics, and branding that benefits from a rugged, handmade impression.

The texture and uneven perimeter give the face a gritty, tactile attitude—like ink pushed through absorbent paper or a well-used stamp. It feels informal and approachable, with a slightly rugged, DIY character that can read as vintage-craft or outdoorsy depending on context.

The design appears intended to deliver a bold, immediately legible silhouette while adding character through deliberate edge wear and ink spread. Rather than pursuing precision, it prioritizes tactile texture and irregularity to create a convincingly imperfect, printed look.

Capitals are assertive and blocky with minimal detailing, while rounded forms like O/C/G/Q show the most visible edge breakup. At smaller sizes the roughness may merge and thicken, so it tends to read best when given room to show its surface texture.
