A heavy, block-forward slab serif with broad proportions and compact counters. Serifs are thick and mostly squared off with subtle bracketing, giving the outlines a carved, poster-like solidity. Curves (C, O, S) are full and round but terminate with firm, flat joins; diagonals (V, W, X) are wide and weighty. Lowercase shows single-storey a and g, short ascenders, and a sturdy, rectangular rhythm; bowls and joins often pinch slightly, creating small dark notches reminiscent of mild ink-trap behavior at joins and apertures. Numerals are robust and tightly drawn, with the 2 and 3 showing pronounced slab terminals and the 8 staying compact and dense.

Best suited to display settings where impact and durability matter: headlines, pull quotes, posters, and brand marks. It can also work for short blocks of text (e.g., decks or subheads) when a dense, authoritative texture is desired, but it will feel heavy for long-form reading.

The tone is forceful and grounded, with a confident, old-school presence. Its dense color and chunky slabs evoke classic newspaper headlines, varsity/athletic lettering, and utilitarian signage—bold without feeling playful.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum visual weight and clarity through thick slabs, broad letterforms, and compact internal spaces, creating a dependable, attention-grabbing voice for editorial and promotional typography.

Spacing reads on the tight side in text, producing a strong, continuous texture suited to short lines and emphasis. The ampersand and punctuation share the same stout, squared vocabulary, and the overall silhouette stays consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures.
