A sturdy serif with flared, bracketed terminals and softly tapering stroke endings that give the forms a carved, chiseled feel. The design has broad proportions and a strong, even color, with moderate contrast and confident vertical stress. Serifs are prominent but not sharp, and the counters stay open, helping the bold shapes remain readable. Rounded letters (C, O, Q) feel generous and stable, while diagonals (K, V, W, X) keep crisp joins and controlled tapering.

Best suited to display and editorial typography where a bold serif voice is needed: magazine and newspaper headings, book jackets, cultural posters, and brand marks that want a traditional but energetic presence. It can also work for short blocks of text when a strong, high-ink, printlike texture is desirable.

The font conveys an editorial, established tone—serious and dependable with a slightly calligraphic warmth. Its flared endings add a traditional, “print” character that feels at home in literary or institutional contexts rather than overtly modern or geometric settings.

The design appears intended to combine the authority of a traditional serif with the liveliness of flared, calligraphic terminals, producing a bold, attention-holding texture that stays readable at larger sizes. It aims for a classic, publishing-oriented voice with enough distinctive shaping to stand out in titles and prominent copy.

Uppercase characters show strong presence and consistent spacing suited to headline use, while the lowercase maintains a steady rhythm and clear word shapes. Numerals are weighty and legible, matching the overall texture and serif treatment without looking overly decorative.
