A distressed serif with sharp, wedge-like terminals and heavily eroded contours that create broken edges and intermittent interior voids. Strokes show strong thick–thin modulation, but the weight is frequently interrupted by ink-break artifacts, giving counters and bowls a bitten, irregular silhouette. Proportions feel slightly expanded with uneven character widths, and the overall rhythm reads as intentionally unstable while still retaining a classical serif skeleton. Numerals and lowercase follow the same worn treatment, with occasional notches and ragged joins that emphasize texture over smooth continuity.

Best suited for display typography where atmosphere is the priority: horror and suspense titles, Halloween graphics, game or film posters, album artwork, and gritty editorial headlines. It can work for short callouts or pull quotes, but extended body text will feel busy due to the aggressive erosion and uneven stroke continuity.

The font conveys a grim, aged atmosphere—like old print pulled from a damaged plate or a deteriorated letterpress poster. Its jagged texture and high-contrast serif structure suggest mystery and tension, making it feel ominous and theatrical rather than friendly or neutral.

The design appears intended to combine a traditional serif foundation with pronounced degradation, simulating worn ink and damaged edges to deliver a dramatic, aged-print effect. The goal is visual character and mood—evoking old, unsettling ephemera—while keeping letterforms recognizable enough for bold display use.

At text sizes, the distressed details remain prominent and can reduce clarity, especially where thin strokes fracture or counters partially close. The texture is fairly consistent across the set, producing a cohesive “printed-through-wear” look that stands out most in short phrases and display settings.
