This italic serif shows pronounced thick–thin modulation with sharp hairlines and smoothly bracketed, wedge-like serifs. The letterforms lean with a consistent rightward slant and a fluid, calligraphic rhythm, evident in tapered entry/exit strokes and gently swelling stems. Counters are relatively open for an italic, with compact curves and slightly tightened joins that give the texture a crisp, energetic color. Numerals follow the same high-contrast construction, with elegant curves and fine terminals that keep the set visually cohesive.

Well-suited for editorial typography where an italic voice is needed for emphasis, citations, pull quotes, and secondary hierarchy. It can also serve comfortably in longer passages at moderate sizes, and works especially well in magazines and book interiors that benefit from a classic, high-contrast serif texture.

The overall tone is cultured and literary, balancing elegance with a lively, handwritten inflection. It feels traditional and bookish rather than trendy, lending a sense of refinement and credibility while maintaining forward motion typical of italics.

The design appears intended as a conventional text italic with a strong calligraphic underpinning, providing a distinctive yet familiar companion for reading-oriented typography. Its high-contrast structure and tapered details aim to deliver elegance and emphasis without departing from traditional serif norms.

Ascenders and capitals read tall and poised, while lowercase forms maintain a steady baseline rhythm with occasional flourish-like terminals (notably in letters such as f, j, and y). The italic construction emphasizes diagonal strokes and tapered feet, producing a dynamic line that remains orderly and text-focused.
