This typeface presents a crisp serif construction with pronounced, wedge-like flared serifs and pointed, triangular terminals that read as lightly incised. Strokes alternate between slender hairlines and fuller curves, producing a refined rhythm with clear contrast, especially in round letters and the diagonals of A, V, W, and X. The capitals are stately and slightly wide in their internal spaces (notably C, O, and G), while the lowercase keeps a straightforward, readable skeleton with a modest x-height and distinctive, angular finishing strokes on ascenders and descenders. Numerals follow the same chiseled logic, with open, airy counters and small triangular feet that add a carved, inscriptional character.

Best suited to headlines and short-to-medium text where its incised wedges and crisp contrast can be appreciated, such as book covers, chapter titles, editorial display, posters, and formal invitations. It can also work for logos and packaging that aim for a classical or crafted aesthetic, while long passages may benefit from generous size and spacing to keep the sharp terminals from feeling dense.

The overall tone feels formal and slightly archaic, evoking inscriptions, classical display typography, and literary titles. Its sharp wedge terminals and sculpted contrast give it a ceremonial presence that can read as historic, mythic, or editorial depending on context.

The design intention appears to blend a traditional serif foundation with an inscriptional, chiseled finish—using wedge serifs and pointed terminals to suggest carved lettering while retaining conventional letterforms for readability.

Distinctive triangular notches and spur-like details appear throughout, creating a consistent decorative signature without becoming overly busy in text. The lowercase ‘g’ is single-storey and the ‘e’ has a relatively open eye, helping maintain clarity despite the stylized serif treatment.
