A high-contrast serif with sharp, tapered terminals and a pronounced vertical stress. The letterforms are defined by a distinctive inline cut that runs through stems and curves, creating an engraved, hollowed appearance while keeping the overall silhouette crisp and legible. Serifs are bracketed and neatly finished, with fine hairlines and sturdy main strokes; curves are smooth and fairly round, and spacing feels generous, reinforcing the open, display-driven rhythm. Numerals and capitals carry the same inline treatment, giving the set a consistent, crafted look across the alphabet and figures.

Best used for headlines, titles, and short passages where the inline engraving can be appreciated—editorial display, posters, branding marks, packaging, and event collateral. It can also work for formal invitations or certificates when set at ample size with comfortable tracking to keep the interior cut from crowding.

The inline carving evokes traditional engraving and bookish refinement, lending the face a formal, premium tone. It reads as decorative and slightly theatrical—more suited to statement typography than quiet text—while still feeling grounded in classical serif conventions.

The design appears intended to merge a classic serif foundation with an engraved inline effect, delivering a decorative display face that signals craftsmanship and tradition. The consistent internal carving suggests a focus on creating a distinctive signature look for prominent typographic moments.

In the text sample, the inline detail remains visually prominent at larger sizes and creates a textured, layered effect, especially in rounded letters and double-stroked joins. The contrast between thick strokes and hairlines, combined with the internal cut, produces a bright, etched sparkle that can become busy if set too small or too tightly spaced.
