This typeface is a high-contrast italic serif with a pronounced vertical rhythm: weight concentrates in firm, tapered stems while connections and terminals drop to extremely fine hairlines. Letterforms are sharply modeled and slightly calligraphic, with a slanted axis, crisp apexes, and minimal bracketing where serifs appear. Many capitals and several lowercase characters feature long, looping entry/exit strokes and ornamental swashes that extend beyond the core body, creating an airy silhouette around otherwise compact, dark strokes. The x-height reads as modest, with tall ascenders/descenders and lively, variable-looking widths that give the text a flowing, fashion-forward cadence.

Best suited to display settings where its contrast and swash details can breathe—magazine headlines, luxury and beauty branding, packaging, and event or wedding invitations. It also works well for short editorial standfirsts, pull quotes, and titling in spacious layouts where hairlines and flourishes won’t be lost.

The overall tone is luxurious and theatrical, pairing poised sophistication with a touch of flourish. Its mix of razor-thin hairlines and bold strokes feels editorial and romantic, projecting exclusivity and high-end craft rather than utilitarian neutrality.

The design appears intended as a statement italic for refined display typography, combining a Didone-inspired contrast model with decorative, calligraphic swashes to create a glamorous, boutique feel. It prioritizes elegance and visual impact over compact, high-density reading.

In text, the delicate hairlines and extended swashes can become visually busy at smaller sizes or in tight line spacing, while larger sizes emphasize the dramatic contrast and graceful movement. Numerals follow the same italic, high-contrast logic with elegant curves and fine finishing strokes that echo the letterforms.
