A serif typeface with compact proportions and pronounced thick–thin modulation, rendered with intentionally rough, broken contours that mimic worn metal type or imperfect ink transfer. Serifs are sharp and tapered with slightly flared terminals, while curves show subtle waviness and small bites along the edges. Counters remain fairly open, but interior shapes and joins carry a faintly uneven, hand-printed texture that keeps strokes from feeling mechanically smooth. Overall spacing is tight and the rhythm is crisp, with consistent distressing across uppercase, lowercase, and figures.

Well-suited to display and short editorial settings where texture is part of the message—book covers, magazine features, event posters, and packaging that aims for an antique or craft-printed feel. It can also work for pull quotes and subheads where a classic serif voice is desired with added grit.

The texture and old-style letterforms create a vintage, printed-page atmosphere—literary and slightly ominous, like an aged book jacket or a worn poster pulled from an archive. It feels human and tactile rather than polished, adding grit and character without turning into illegibility.

Likely designed to blend a traditional serif structure with a deliberately imperfect, worn printing surface, providing a ready-made aged or analog look without requiring additional effects. The goal appears to be readable, classic typography that carries atmosphere and materiality.

The distressing is fine-grained and consistent, reading as surface wear rather than random damage, so it holds together well in words and lines of text. Numerals and capitals carry the same weathered edge treatment, helping mixed settings feel cohesive.
