A dense, angular blackletter with sharply broken strokes and prominent wedge terminals. Vertical stems dominate, while bowls and diagonals are constructed from faceted, chiseled segments that create a rhythmic pattern of thick–thin contrast. Counters are relatively tight and irregular in a hand-cut, calligraphic way, and many joins resolve into pointed notches or small interior cuts. Capitals are more ornamental and emphatic, with stronger silhouettes and occasional flourished edges, while lowercase forms maintain a consistent, tightly woven texture.

This design performs best in display contexts such as posters, headlines, title treatments, and logo-style wordmarks where its angular detail can be appreciated. It also suits themed packaging and editorial accents that call for historic or ceremonial tone, while longer passages benefit from generous size and spacing to preserve legibility.

The font evokes manuscript tradition and old-world authority, carrying a solemn, ceremonial feel. Its sharp angles and compact texture read as historic and forceful, suitable for designs that aim for gravitas, mystery, or a classic “Gothic” atmosphere.

The letterforms appear intended to recreate a traditional blackletter texture with hand-drawn, calligraphic irregularities and emphatic, blade-like terminals. The overall construction prioritizes period character and dramatic presence over neutrality, aiming for a strong, iconic texture in short-form typography.

In text settings the face forms a dark, continuous color with a pronounced vertical cadence, and individual letters can visually knit together at smaller sizes due to the tight spacing and complex stroke breaks. Numerals and capitals match the same faceted construction, supporting cohesive display use.
