A high-contrast serif with crisp, tapered strokes and strongly bracketed serifs that often flare as stems meet terminals. Curves are smooth and generously rounded, while joins stay sharp and controlled, producing a clear vertical rhythm in text. Uppercase forms feel stately and well-proportioned with pointed apexes and clean interior counters; lowercase shows compact, sturdy shapes with a two-storey “g,” a fairly upright stress, and distinct wedge-like terminals. Numerals follow the same contrast and serif logic, with open, readable forms and pronounced thick–thin transitions.

Well-suited to editorial typography where a traditional serif voice is desired, including magazine features, book interiors, and pull quotes. It also performs convincingly in display contexts such as headlines, titles, and formal stationery where its contrast and flared serifs can be appreciated.

The overall tone is classic and authoritative, with an editorial polish that reads as traditional and cultured. Its sharp serifs and dramatic contrast add a touch of ceremony, making the texture feel refined rather than casual.

The font appears designed to deliver a classical reading experience with a refined, print-oriented character. Its combination of strong contrast, bracketed serifs, and subtly flared terminals suggests an intent to bridge traditional book typography and elegant display use.

In paragraph settings the letterfit and spacing create a stable, bookish color, while the pronounced contrast and flared endings add sparkle at larger sizes. The design balances crisp details with smooth curves, giving it a slightly calligraphic warmth without becoming decorative.
