A serifed display face with compact proportions and noticeably irregular, textured strokes. Letterforms keep a mostly traditional skeleton, but edges are roughened and interiors show blotchy, eroded pockets that mimic worn ink or distressed printing. Serifs are wedge-like and uneven, with occasional flares and chipped terminals that create a lively, imperfect rhythm. Curves are slightly lumpy and counters vary subtly from glyph to glyph, reinforcing a handcrafted, aged impression while remaining broadly readable at display sizes.

Best suited for short-to-medium display text where the textured detail can read clearly—posters, chapter titles, packaging, event graphics, and themed branding. It works particularly well for seasonal or narrative-driven designs (mystery, gothic, vintage) and should be used with generous sizing and spacing in body copy to avoid texture-driven noise.

The overall tone is antique and slightly eerie, like type pulled from an old broadside or a well-used storybook. Its distressed texture adds drama and grit, suggesting mystery, folklore, and theatrical flair rather than clean modern polish.

The design appears intended to evoke historic serif typography while injecting a deliberately degraded surface—an effect reminiscent of aged printing, ink bleed, or weathered letterpress. It aims to deliver character and atmosphere quickly, turning familiar serif structures into expressive, theme-forward display lettering.

Uppercase forms feel more decorative and carved due to heavier internal distressing, while lowercase maintains a simpler calligraphic flow with thin joins and occasional hooky terminals. Numerals are clear and classic in construction, carrying the same softened, worn edge treatment for consistency.
