A high-contrast serif with dominant vertical stems, thin connecting hairlines, and crisp, sharp serifs that read cleanly at display sizes. The forms are broad and weighty overall, with narrow interior counters in letters like B, P, and e, and a strongly modulated stroke rhythm that emphasizes vertical stress. Serifs are fine and pointed rather than blocky, and several glyphs show tapered, slightly calligraphic transitions and occasional ball-like terminals (notably in the lowercase). Numerals are similarly assertive, with compact apertures and pronounced thick–thin contrast.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, magazine or newspaper features, book covers, and brand marks where strong contrast and sharp serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short pull quotes and titling in print or high-resolution digital layouts, especially where a dense, authoritative typographic color is desired.

The tone is emphatic and theatrical, projecting a sense of heritage and prestige while staying crisp and contemporary in its sharp detailing. It feels suited to statements and headlines—confident, formal, and slightly flamboyant in the way the contrast and wide stance command attention.

The design appears intended to deliver a classic, high-contrast serif voice with maximum impact: wide, commanding capitals, elegant hairlines, and crisp finishing details that read as premium and editorial. The goal seems to be a contemporary take on traditional contrasted serifs, optimized for attention-grabbing display settings.

The lowercase shows a sturdy, somewhat compact texture in running text, with rounded bowls that stay dense and dark; the italics are not shown, and the roman maintains a consistent upright posture. The overall color on the page is bold and continuous, so spacing and line breaks will strongly affect readability in longer passages.
