A heavy, block-built slab serif with broad proportions and squared, bracketed slabs that read as carved forms rather than delicate terminals. Strokes are thick with noticeable modulation in places, and many joins feature small notches/ink-trap-like cut-ins that open tight corners and add a chiseled texture. Counters are compact and geometric, apertures are relatively tight, and curves (like in C/O/S) stay robust and rounded without becoming soft. The lowercase keeps a large x-height with short ascenders/descenders, reinforcing a dense, poster-ready color on the page, while numerals share the same chunky, cut-corner rhythm.

Best suited to headlines and short, high-impact copy where weight and presence are the priority—posters, event graphics, bold editorial titles, packaging fronts, and signage. It can also work for sports/team branding and retro-themed identities, especially when set large with slightly increased letterspacing to preserve clarity.

The overall tone is bold and declarative, evoking vintage display typography associated with western signage, sports lettering, and mid-century advertising. The notched details and thick slabs add a rugged, workmanlike character that feels confident and slightly playful rather than refined or corporate.

The design appears aimed at a classic display slab that maximizes impact through thick stems, broad slabs, and compact counters, while adding signature notched joins to keep forms crisp and recognizable. It prioritizes strong silhouette and a distinctive, carved texture for branding and attention-grabbing typographic statements.

In text settings the dense spacing and small internal counters create strong dark mass, so it reads best when given generous tracking and room to breathe. The distinctive corner cut-ins become a key identifying motif at larger sizes, where they add texture and help distinguish similar shapes.
