A heavy, high-contrast serif with sculpted, flared stroke endings and prominent wedge-like serifs. The design emphasizes strong vertical stems paired with sharply tapered joins and pointed interior notches, creating a chiseled silhouette in many capitals. Curves are broad and smooth, with tight apertures in letters like S and a, and rounded terminals that occasionally read as small ball forms (notably in e and some lowercase). The lowercase shows a compact, sturdy rhythm with pronounced weight concentration and crisp head/foot treatments, while figures are bold, display-oriented, and highly graphic.

Best suited to display typography such as headlines, magazine mastheads, book and album covers, and high-impact branding where contrast and sculpted serifs can be appreciated. It can also work for short pull quotes or section openers, but will generally require comfortable spacing to maintain clarity.

The overall tone is commanding and theatrical, projecting an editorial, poster-ready presence with a classical underpinning. Its sharp transitions and carved details add a sense of drama and authority, while the rounded terminals keep it from feeling purely severe.

The letterforms suggest an intention to reinterpret a traditional serif for modern display use by combining strong contrast with flared, carved terminals and crisp notches that add distinctive identity. The design appears optimized for impactful text blocks and titling where bold, classic authority is desired without resorting to slab-like construction.

At larger sizes the internal cut-ins and pointed joins become a defining texture, especially in letters such as K, M, N, V, W, and X. In dense settings the heavy strokes and narrow counters can darken quickly, so it reads best when given space through size, tracking, or generous line spacing.
