A heavy, high-contrast serif with strongly flared stroke endings and wedged, triangular serifs. The letterforms show a crisp, chiseled construction: thick verticals and swelling curves are paired with hairline-like joins and pointed internal vertices, producing sharp, faceted counters. Uppercase forms are broad and assertive with pronounced serif geometry, while the lowercase mixes rounded bowls with tight, tapering joins and compact apertures, keeping a lively rhythm. Numerals are similarly sculpted, with prominent wedges and clear thick–thin modulation that reads as intentionally ornamental rather than purely text-oriented.

Best suited to headlines, titles, and short blocks of prominent copy where its sculptural contrast and wedge details can be appreciated. It works particularly well for magazine mastheads, book and album covers, packaging, and brand marks that want a classic-but-dramatic serif voice.

The overall tone is bold and theatrical, evoking classic print headlines with a slightly gothic, engraved edge. Its sharp transitions and flared endings create a sense of ceremony and authority, while the energetic modulation adds a fashionable, boutique editorial character.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum impact through a carved, flared-serif construction—combining traditional serif cues with sharp, high-contrast modeling to create a distinctive display face for editorial and branding contexts.

In continuous setting the dense color and acute joins become a defining texture, especially around diagonals and pointed vertices. The wedge serifs and flared terminals are consistent across caps, lowercase, and figures, giving the face a cohesive, carved look that favors larger sizes and strong contrasty layouts.
