A sturdy slab-serif with softly rounded contours and a hand-cut, slightly irregular finish. Strokes are broadly even and heavy enough to feel robust, with thick, bracketed slab serifs that often flare or taper into the stems. Curves are generous and somewhat bulbous (notably in C, G, O, and S), and joins show subtle notches and ink-trap-like pinch points that add texture at display sizes. Lowercase forms are compact and readable with a single-storey a and g, a tall, narrow t, and a squat, sturdy rhythm overall; the figures are bold and rounded, with a distinctive, slightly quirky 2 and 7.

Well suited to display typography where texture and personality are welcome—headlines, posters, labels, packaging, and storefront-style signage. It can also work for short editorial callouts or chapter heads, where its sturdy slabs and rounded forms maintain clarity while adding a vintage-flavored voice.

The overall tone is warm and approachable, with a vintage, print-era character that feels a bit rustic and handmade. Its chunky slabs and soft curves create a friendly, slightly whimsical voice—more storybook and poster-like than corporate or technical.

Designed to deliver a bold, readable slab-serif with a human, slightly roughened surface—evoking older printing, wood type, or hand-set display lettering without sacrificing legibility. The aim appears to be a balance of sturdy structure and playful, organic detail.

Letter widths vary noticeably, giving the text a lively, uneven cadence rather than a rigid, engineered feel. The serifs tend to be blunt and weighty, helping shapes hold together in dense settings, while the subtle irregularities keep it from feeling overly polished.
