A heavy, block-built slab serif with broad proportions and compact internal counters. Strokes are thick with moderate contrast, and terminals resolve into substantial, squared-off slabs that feel lightly bracketed in places. Curves (C, O, S) are wide and cushioned, while joins and notches create small triangular cut-ins that read like ink-trap-inspired detailing at the shoulders and inside corners. The lowercase is robust with a tall x-height and short ascenders, giving the text a dense, rectangular rhythm; numerals are similarly massive and headline-oriented.

Best suited to display work where impact is the priority: posters, event titles, sports or team branding, bold packaging labels, and storefront or wayfinding-style signage. It can work in short blocks of copy, but it will be most effective when used large with ample leading and tracking to keep counters open.

The overall tone is confident and emphatic, with a classic American poster sensibility that can lean Western or collegiate depending on color and layout. Its weight and width make it feel loud, sturdy, and attention-grabbing, with a friendly retro warmth rather than a sharp industrial edge.

The design appears intended to deliver maximum presence with a familiar slab-serif voice, combining wide, blocky proportions with subtle notched detailing to improve character separation and add personality. It emphasizes strong silhouettes and a steady, rhythmic texture for high-visibility typographic statements.

Spacing appears generous at display sizes, but the thick strokes and small counters can cause dark, contiguous texture in paragraphs. The distinctive corner notches and hefty slabs give strong silhouette recognition, especially in uppercase settings and short phrases.
