A high-contrast serif with pronounced vertical stress, thick main stems, and very fine hairlines. Serifs are sharp and largely unbracketed, reading as crisp wedges and hairline slabs at the ends of strokes. Capitals are stately and spacious with clean, classical proportions; curves in C, G, and S are taut and controlled, while diagonals in V, W, X, and Y come to sharp apexes. The lowercase balances narrow joins and delicate entry strokes with sturdy verticals; the g shows a compact double-storey form with a strong ear, and the f has a tall, slender profile. Figures follow the same contrast model, mixing solid stems with razor-thin connecting strokes and crisp finishing serifs.

Best suited to display typography such as magazine headlines, pull quotes, cover lines, and refined branding where the high contrast can be shown clearly. It also works well for formal invitations and book or film titles that benefit from a classic, high-fashion aesthetic; for longer text, it will be most comfortable when set with generous size and leading.

The overall tone is polished and upscale, with a distinct editorial and fashion sensibility. Its dramatic contrast and refined detailing communicate sophistication and formality, lending text a curated, premium voice rather than a casual one.

The design appears intended to deliver a modernized Didone-like elegance: commanding verticals, hairline detailing, and crisp serifs that project luxury and editorial authority. Its structure prioritizes dramatic contrast and refined silhouette for impactful, high-end typographic presentation.

At larger sizes the hairlines and crisp serifs read as precise and luxurious, while in dense settings the extreme contrast can create a shimmering rhythm and make spacing feel especially important. The design maintains a consistent calligraphic logic across letters and figures, with clean joins and minimal ornamental flourish.
