A classical serif with softly bracketed serifs and gently modulated strokes. The letterforms show an oldstyle-leaning construction: rounded joins, subtly tapered terminals, and an organic, penned rhythm rather than rigid geometry. Counters are generously open in round letters, while verticals remain steady and calm; the lowercase has compact proportions with a relatively small x-height and clear ascenders/descenders. Numerals and capitals follow the same restrained, bookish color, with balanced spacing that reads evenly in paragraphs.

Well suited to extended reading in book interiors, editorial articles, and other text-forward layouts where a familiar serif texture is desired. It can also support formal documents, reports, and educational materials, and scales up cleanly for pull quotes and refined headings.

The overall tone is traditional and literary, suggesting printed books, essays, and institutional communication. Its measured contrast and softened details feel authoritative without becoming sharp or ornate, giving it a composed, editorial voice.

The design appears intended to provide a dependable, traditional serif for continuous reading, prioritizing comfortable rhythm and conventional proportions. Its softened serifs and humanist modulation aim for warmth and clarity while keeping a formal, established typographic character.

Details such as the angled head serifs and the slightly calligraphic curvature in letters like a, e, and g contribute to a humanist texture. At larger sizes the bracketing and stroke modulation become more apparent, while in text settings the face maintains a steady, conventional typographic color.
