This serif face shows old-style proportions with gently bracketed, slightly flared serifs and softly modulated strokes. The outlines have an intentionally uneven, hand-rendered edge that gives counters and terminals a subtly irregular texture without obscuring the letterforms. Capitals are sturdy and somewhat wide in feel, while lowercase forms keep a traditional rhythm with rounded bowls and modest ascenders/descenders. Numerals and letters share the same textured finish, and overall spacing reads even, supporting continuous text while maintaining a distinctive grain.

It suits editorial layouts, book interiors, and longer passages where a classic serif structure is desired with added personality. It also performs well for packaging, posters, and display typography that benefits from an artisanal or vintage atmosphere, particularly at medium-to-large sizes where the textured detailing is visible.

The font conveys a warm, timeworn tone—suggestive of printmaking, letterpress, or inked type on textured paper. Its irregular edges and calligraphic influence add a human, handcrafted character that feels historical and literary rather than sleek or technical.

The design appears intended to blend a traditional old-style serif foundation with a deliberately distressed, inked texture to evoke analog printing and handmade lettering. The goal seems to be readability-first typography with a distinctive, organic surface character for heritage-leaning communication.

In the sample text, the texture becomes more apparent at larger sizes, where the slightly wavy contours and softened terminals read as a deliberate stylistic effect. The forms remain recognizable and stable, but the edge roughness adds a lively shimmer along word shapes, especially in curved letters like C, O, e, and s.
